What exactly is home care?
Our home care services provide the extra help you need where you are most comfortable in your home. Home care services can include help with household duties, personal care, or just companionship. All of our care services are tailored to your needs and into account a holistic approach. They are a better alternative to nursing or residential homes, as living in your own home makes recovery easier.
Our domiciliary care services are designed to support you at home, but also to help you continue to enjoy your life as you see fit. To help you live an independent life, we will accompany you to doctor’s appointments, shopping, and social events with friends and family. We will even go so far as to take you on outings to the great outdoors, such as Kew Gardens to promote your mental well-being.

How can I benefit from home care?
Our in-home care service is individually tailored to each client. Sorted Healthcare is here to help you continue to live comfortably in your own home, surrounded by your possessions and memories.
Our person-centred domiciliary care services can include two to four visits per day, personal care, wake in night, 24-hour care, or live-in care. Our home care services can be used for short-term help after an illness, on discharge from hospital, while your regular carer is on leave, or as the start of a period of care that can lead to long-term home care and support.
Our dedicated carers are well trained to:
- Help you start your day by getting up, washing and putting on freash clothes and eating a nutritious meal.
- Help you take medicines; remind you and support you to take medicines and collect or return medicines from your pharmacy or doctor's surgery.
- Meals: preparing meals with you or for you and helping you with meals.
- Outings: outings: collecting your pension with you or on your behalf if there's an arrangement, shopping with you or helping you to make a shopping list, going to the shops and returning home to put everything away.
- Household: help with washing or ironing and keep the house clean and tidy.
- Assist with social activities such as going for a walk, visiting a day centre, visiting friends or relatives, or joining a church or club.
- Personal care: a little pampering when needed – The occasional visit to provide a bath, clean cloths, clean bedding, and a well-prepared evening meal before the evening.
- Some help is needed each evening to prepare for bed. For example cleaning and inserting dentures and grooming before bed.
