Live in Care

What’s Live-in care?

At Sorted Healthcare, we provide tailored home care for older adults and young adults with complex needs, such as MS, who want to remain independent in their own homes. We believe that every person is different. That’s why we offer a wide range of home care services with options for different levels of support. From companionship to dementia care and home help, we can help you continue to live happily at home.

If your loved one needs round-the-clock care and wants to stay in their own home, we can often arrange for a team of live-in caregivers to ensure your loved one receives attentive care 24 hours a day.

Why live-in care?

Your loved one will be paired with two caregivers who’re similar in interests and personality. We say two because unforeseen circumstances can arise when one carer is unavailable.

This creates a strong relationship of trust because we only hire caring, compassionate people with a big heart. The needs of the service user always come first.

You and your loved one choose the typical hours the caregiver works, depending on when you expect to need the most support. Your caregiver can relax, sleep and participate in typical household activities outside of work hours.

Spend quality time with your family and friends again

The time you spend with your loved ones should be of high quality. It’s therefore acceptable to recognise that families often need support To take some of the responsibility for the safety and well-being of a loved one. A holistic approach to care and lifestyle at an earlier stage in the ageing process helps to slow the rate of decline in health.

It's a perfect scenario

your loved one can stay at home where they like to be and where they cherish their memories, and family members can rest assured that help is always available.

Whatever you like to do, we’ll provide you with the right caregiver who becomes your preferred companion.

What're the tasks of the live-in caregivers in the home?
ot only are they your companion while you live in your home, but they’re also always on hand when you need help to ensure your safety and comfort at all times. Most importantly, they become a recognisable face and a source of professional friendship, whether preparing a memorable meal, watching a favourite TV show or reminiscing about the ‘good old days’.

Consider Live-in Care

There are common scenarios, conditions and events where live-in care is the answer to future challenges
Chronic diseases
Parkinson’s disease requires regular and thorough monitoring. Our care professionals are trained to observe any changes in a client’s health, well-being and behaviour and intervene when there’s cause for concern.
Dementia care
Living at home means maintaining daily habits that may not be possible in a care home. The continuity of life in the home that a person with dementia has come to love is helpful. When a partner dies, it takes time to adjust, not only emotionally but also practically. A caregiver can be a much-needed companion and fill the support role that’s just been vacated.
Consider Live-in Care
Many older people are no longer able to do even the simplest tasks, such as lifting the kettle to make a cup of tea. A person who’s becoming increasingly frail can maintain their freedom and quality of life with the help of Live-in Care.
Unexpected illnesses and incidents
Whether a fall or a sudden illness, your loved one may be prone to incidents that need immediate attention. You and your family will be relieved by professional help.
